Signa Web

In general, the use of Signa Web service is free of charge — simply open the Signa Web service page in your browser, and you can start creating or uploading an existing ADOC document, as well as reviewing or editing it.

When using the service, the following fees may apply for signing with a qualified electronic signature and adding a qualified time stamp (prices are listed excluding VAT):

• Creating a single signature using Mobile-ID or Smart-ID – 0.20 EUR.
• Creating a single signature using LT ID – 0.15 EUR.
• Creating a single signature using a stationary electronic signature and SimplySign – 0.00 EUR.
• One qualified electronic time stamp – 0.04 EUR. (A qualified time stamp is added to all qualified electronic signatures created in the Signa Web service).

If the monthly cost of services is less than 1 EUR (excluding VAT), a VAT invoice will not be issued.

The Signa Web service is intended for anyone who wishes to create, sign, and/or verify official electronic documents of the ADOC specification. The service can be used by individuals as well as companies, institutions, and organizations.

Every user specifies on his own behalf in whose name a specific ADOC document is created, to whom it is addressed, and the details of the person signing it.

Yes, a qualified time stamp is added to each qualified electronic signature created using the Signa Web service. The service uses time stamps from the MitSoft qualified time-stamping services, whose certificate remains valid for at least 5 years from the time the time stamp is applied (the time of signing).

If necessary, Signa Web allows you to apply time stamps to electronic signatures in ADOC documents created previously in Signa Web or other systems, as well as to prepare electronic signatures for long-term validity (by upgrading the signature format to XAdES X-L).

Signing and time-stamping in the Signa Web service are permitted only for users registered to use Signa signing services. A user may be either a natural person or a legal entity (a company, institution, or organization).

The access key is displayed in the final step of the registration wizard — you must note it down and enter it later when prompted to sign or add a time stamp.

The access key that you are asked to provide during the signing process is displayed in the final step of the registration wizard, after you have signed the Terms of Service. If you no longer have it, you can obtain a new access key as follows:

1. Go to: https://signa.mitsoft.lt/billing/login.xhtml?lang=en

2. Select "Contracts" from the menu on the left. Click the "Refresh" link at the bottom of the page to update the key. A new key should be displayed. Save it.

3. Wait 2–3 minutes and try using the new key.

Don’t forget to enter the new access key the next time you sign in to the Signa Web service. You can do this by selecting “Change” in the signing data section, if it has been saved.

If you want to sign documents using the Signa Web service and receive invoices for Signa signing services on behalf of a company or organization, you must register that company or organization to use Signa services. You can register at:  https://signa.mitsoft.lt/mss-registration/en

When registering, you must indicate that you are registering a company or organization and provide the requested company information. The access key displayed at the end of the registration process corresponds to this registration. You must save this key and use it later when signing documents in the Signa Web service. The access key you receive can be used by all employees of the company or organization; there is no need for each person to register separately.

If, even after registering a company or organization, invoices are issued to you personally as an individual, this means that you are also registered as an individual, and when signing, you are using an access key corresponding to your individual registration rather than the organization’s registration. Change it at the time of signing and specify the access key intended for the organization.

The Signa Web service does not include a feature that allows you to create a PDF copy of an ADOC document.

You can create a PDF copy of an ADOC document that complies with the recommendations for printing copies and extracts of electronic documents approved by the Office of the Chief Archivist of Lithuania using our other service, Signa Platform.

To sign using a stationary electronic signature device, you must install the appropriate drivers on your computer:

• When signing with an ID card or employee ID card, install the drivers available at:

  https://www.nsc.vrm.lt/downloads_en.htm

  We recommend using the instructions provided on that page for installing the drivers and preparing the card. You will also need to use a card reader and install the reader drivers.
• When signing with a cryptographic USB device issued by the State Enterprise Center of Registers, install the appropriate drivers available at: https://www.elektroninis.lt/en/prepare-pc.
• If you are using a smart card or USB cryptographic device issued by another EU country that contains a qualified digital signature certificate, use the information provided by the issuer of the device to download the necessary driver installation package (you must install drivers that support the PKCS#11 protocol).

When signing with stationary electronic signature devices, the Signa Browser Extension is also used. If it is not installed on the user’s workplace, the user will be prompted to download and install it the first time he or she attempts to sign. The Signa Browser Extension can be installed on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems and used with all browsers installed on those systems.
