The Signa SDK (Software Development Kit) is a collection of software libraries designed to create, sign, and verify electronic documents that comply with the requirements of electronic documents and containers specifications. The Signa SDK allows users to work with documents prepared in accordance with the electronic document specifications used in Lithuania (ADOC, PDF-LT, MDOC, etc.), as well as with documents or containers widely used in the European Union (PDF, ASiC), including all formats specified in the implementing acts of the eIDAS Regulation.
The Signa SDK libraries can be used in systems developed for Java and .NET platforms. The libraries provide tools not only for creating and signing electronic documents, but also for their subsequent management — including verification and preparation for long-term preservation.
The Signa SDK is one of the first libraries in Lithuania for working with electronic documents, and it has been successfully deployed in various information systems for many years. The libraries’ performance has also been verified in the interoperability tests (PlugTests) for the implementation of electronic signature standards organized by ETSI and have been conducted for many years.
