Signa Platform

There is no subscription fee. You are charged only for the services you use:

• The fee for creating a single qualified electronic signature and preparing it for storage is 0.20 EUR.
• When submitting a document for another person to sign, the cost of creating the electronic signature is charged to the user who submitted the document.
• The fee for preparing a PDF copy of a single electronic document is 0.20 EUR.
• The fee for verifying the validity of electronic signatures on a single signed electronic document is 0.10 EUR.
• Once the monthly storage volume of documents reaches 1 GB, the monthly fee for storing this volume of documents is 1 EUR per GB.
• The monthly fee for a single user account is 1 EUR. If the account is not used during the month, the monthly fee does not apply.

This electronic document management system has been designed to enable users to work with document sets quickly and conveniently: upload them in the desired electronic formats, organize the signing process, and sign the document set using batch signing. The system allows users to create electronic documents in practically all formats in use and to sign them using qualified electronic signature devices recognized in Lithuania and in many other EU countries; therefore, every signatory can find a way to sign documents electronically.

A unique feature of the system is the ability to create copies of the same document in several different electronic formats, thereby enabling each party to receive a signed copy of the document in the format they use. 

Electronic signatures created in the system are immediately prepared for long-term validity using time stamps whose certificates remain valid for at least 5 years from the time of signing.

The system’s user interface is responsive, making it convenient to use not only at the workplace but also on smart devices. The system also features a user interface tailored specifically for users who perform document signing tasks (e.g., organization or company executives), where they can quickly review and sign individual documents or sets of documents submitted to them.

• Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian personal identity cards of all modifications;
• All types of qualified stationary electronic signature devices and qualified certificates issued in Lithuania (currently, these are USB devices issued by the State Enterprise Centre of Registers);
• Qualified stationary electronic signature devices and qualified certificates issued by at least one qualified certification service provider in 23 European Union countries;
• Mobile-ID (mobile electronic signature) – mobile devices with SIM cards provided by SK ID Solutions registration services (mobile network operators);
• Smart-ID – SK ID Solutions virtual remote signing devices;
• LT ID – virtual remote signing devices from the State Enterprise Centre of Registers.

Batch signing refers to the signing of a set of documents by creating electronic signatures for all documents with a single activation of a qualified electronic signature device — by a single entry of a PIN code. Another possible scenario is when multiple electronic signatures with different purposes need to be created in the same document (for example, the head of an institution signs the main document and adds a visa to its attachments). Batch signing can also be used for this purpose.

Batch signing is only possible if the qualified electronic signature creation device supports this functionality. In Signa Platform, batch signing is implemented as follows:

• Using stationary qualified electronic signature devices – up to 50 electronic signatures with a single PIN entry.
• LT ID – up to 20 electronic signatures with a single PIN entry.
• Mobile-ID – up to 3 signatures, with the PIN entered for each electronic signature.
• Smart-ID – up to 3 signatures, with the PIN entered for each electronic signature.

Mobile-ID and Smart-ID do not support batch signing; each electronic signature created must be confirmed by entering a PIN code, which is why the number of signatures that can be created at one time is limited.

Yes, Signa Platform allows you to create a PDF copy of an electronic document and download it. The PDF copy is prepared in accordance with the recommendations for printing copies and extracts of electronic documents approved by the Office of the Chief Archivist of Lithuania. The generated PDF copy includes a metadata sheet, as defined in the recommendations, containing information on the document’s electronic signatures and metadata.

Signa Platform, a trusted service for creating and verifying electronic documents, is available to anyone who wishes to create, sign, and/or verify signed electronic documents.

We are currently able to offer the system to institutions, organizations, and companies. We will soon be able to offer the system to individuals as well.

You can start using Signa Platform after registering accounts for your institution, organization, or company, as well as for its users.

Users can log in to their accounts using qualified electronic signature devices: stationary electronic signature devices, Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, and LT ID.
